Seattle – Disability scholar Ly Xīnzhèn M. Zhǎngsūn Brown delivered a compelling lecture at the University of Washington (UW) last week, exploring the pervasive nature of ableism and its historical connections to eugenics and technology. The talk, hosted by UW’s Office of Public Lectures, drew a significant audience eager to understand the societal structures that perpetuate discrimination against disabled individuals.
